A must for wine lovers and sunshine seekers alike, enjoy a taste of Argentinian summer at the new Vineyard Terrace at Gaucho Piccadilly, launching just in time for World Malbec Day on 17th April.
Available to enjoy throughout the spring and summer, the terrace, designed to whisk guests away to warmer climes, will be transformed into a scenic vineyard. Decked with beautiful hanging vines and twinkling festoon lights, the Vineyard Terrace is a secluded spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and with plentiful plants, wine barrels and scattered terracotta pots, provides the perfect picture Insta-worthy moment.
A wide range of Argentine malbecs will be on offer with wines from Trapiche, one of Argentina’s oldest brands dating back to 1883, and El Esteco from one of the world’s highest vineyards. Accompanying the wines, is a suitably summery South American menu with dishes such as sea bass ceviche with picante rojo and avocado; churrasco cuadril marinated in garlic, parsley and olive oil; and a rich chocolate volcano accompanied by pistachio ice cream.
Exclusively on World Malbec Day on 17th April, head to Gaucho Piccadilly to get involved with some grape stomping for your chance to spin the wheel and win winederful prizes from a bottle of Malbec to take home to lunch for two on the terrace.
Other World Malbec Day celebrations across the Gaucho estate include a Malbec special of the Sour Grapes wine series on 17th April at Gaucho Chancery Lane; a Gaucho social media competition to win return flights to Mendoza; and the chance to win a year’s supply of Malbec via the Gaucho newsletter.
